Documentary Screening Series at Somerville Community Access Television
Somerville Community Access Television will present a Summer Documentary Screening Series in conjunction with local film organizations: Documentary Educational Resources, Women in Film New England, and Color of Film. The series showcases short and feature-length films from nine local filmmakers, who will be on-hand to lead a discussion about their work following the screenings. The films are a diverse collection of socially conscious and thoroughly enlightening work.
The SCAT Summer Screenings, will be held at the SCAT studio at 90 Union Square in Somerville on five Thursday evenings from June 14 to July 19 at 7:00pm A $5 admission fee will help the filmmakers drefray their costs.
Funding for this series was provided by the Somerville Arts Council and the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
